The 2011 Recommended Agency Register (RAR) awards saw The Gate triumph in the advertising category.
The leading Scottish integrated agency was also a finalist in five other categories:
– Best in Integrated
– Best in Brand Strategy
– Best in Digital
– Best in Direct Marketing
– Best in Client Service
The RAR Awards are unique in adland in that they are voted for exclusively by marketing professionals with day-to-day experience of working directly with agencies.
Pete Martin, The Gate’s Creative Director says “Recognition for your creativity is great, especially when it’s from the people who pay the bills. Sure, our work oils the wheels of business but the success we have with clients is often down to the client organisations themselves – so a big ‘Thank You’ to all the professional marketing people out there.”
The RAR Awards mark the culmination of a run of good news for The Gate. Earlier in the year, the agency won the top spot in the UK’s DADI digital innovation awards for its ground-breaking work on the AfterNow project. The Drum Marketing Award for Best Product Launch for Irish energy firm Airtricity arrived next and was followed swiftly by appointment to exciting projects by two of the UK’s biggest brand owners.
