Zoë Pearson
Job title:
Senior Copywriter.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?:
A writer – who wrote books about wolves. I suspect this comes from owning a Ladybird copy of The Hound of Baskervilles at an impressionable age (and also a complete missing understanding of what the ‘hounds’ actually were).
Favourite retro advert?:
The Milk Tray ads. I was a huge fan of James Bond when I was little so these really appealed to me. Never seemed odd that a polo-necked man would go to so much effort to deliver a £2 box of chocolates though.
What would your super power be?:
To pause time.
What’s your guilty pleasure?:
A Hendrick’s gin and tonic with cucumber. I could also eat veg sushi until I burst.
What item could you not live without?:
Green tea. (It’s not meant to be addictive but it is.)
Describe your perfect Sunday:
Brunch at Urban Angel, a stomp around the charity shops in Stockbridge, a walk along the Water of Leith to the Modern Art Gallery, dinner at David Bann followed by a blueberry soup cocktail or two at Bramble.
What’s your Tory name?:
Margaret Evelyn Agnew.
And now for the serious bit…
